Lisette Coates is the author and illustrator of the book series : “Nature Nettie and Enviro Ted“ and hopes you will enjoy getting to know these two characters.

As a kid growing up on the West Coast of Canada, Lisette always wanted to have super powers that allowed her to fly like a bird, swim under water like seals, talk to and understand what all the animals were saying.

Nature Nettie is Lisette’s alter ego. She is the green and blue, nature super hero with an affinity with all the animals across the globe.

Enviro Ted, Nettie’s sidekick, is based on Lisette’s small Teddy she had as a child that used to go with her where ever she went.

Together Nature Nettie and Enviro Ted have a lot of fun with their friends. They are quick to help out when help is needed as we see in the first book of the series : “ A Monster in the Bush”.
